The Current Situation

The Current Situation in China is that the actual movement of The Cultural Revolution is resolved because Mao Zedong had died and then people came in and halted his movement. “Mao’s first successor was imprisoned by the end of the revolution, which led to loss of power by him” (Michael Dillon).  Then “other leaders that survived the revolution would exert influence following Mao’s death in 1976” (Michael, Dillon). When Mao died is what a matter of rebuilding Chinas youth and rebuilding their economy. The people that were going to be killed over ruled them and then the leaders that lived took power and tried to bring China back to its feet. The only really current situation they have is that the youth of China were never able to get an education. They are still Communist but The Cultural Revolution really made it difficult for them to remain this way. It has been over 40 years now, they are just about recovered from this is now one of the worlds greatest manufacturing countries.
